Sport4me Ltd cares very deeply about Child Safety & Child protection. While we maintain strong links with all the Sports club registered to our site we request that all children seek parental consent prior to making contact with any sports club contained on our directory.

For a sports club to have accreditation with their appropriate governing body, all employees and volunteers working within the club must have the appropriate CRB disclosure. Sport4me.co.uk  takes this very seriously and keeps all records of changes in club personnel as up to date as possible.

What is the CRB

The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB), an Executive Agency of the Home Office, provides wider access to criminal record information through its Disclosure service.  This service enables organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors to make safer recruitment decisions by identifying candidates who may be unsuitable for certain work, especially that involve children or vulnerable adults.  The CRB was established under Part V of the Police Act 1997 and was launched in March 2002.
